LS elections: Akhilesh to campaign for SP candidate in Varanasi today

Varanasi: Amidst the high voltage political rallies by national parties in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will campaign for Samajwadi Party candidate Kailash Prasad Chaurasia in the temple town on Saturday.

Akhilesh has said that the Samajwadi Party will win the Varanasi seat on the basis of their organisational strength.

Varanasi is the hot seat this general election with a triangular contest between BJP's Narendra Modi, AAP's Arvind Kejriwal and Congress's Ajay Rai.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi too is campaigning in Varanasi for Rai. Earlier this week, Modi and Kejriwal had held rallies in the temple town.

Today is the last day of campaigning for the last phase of 16th Lok Sabha elections.
