BHADRACHALAM: Unexpected rain coupled with strong winds for nearly an hour on Thursday evening created havoc at the Athiratram Yagasala at Yetapaka, near here.The yagam which was disrupted for an hour resumed after the rain stopped.The make- shift yagasala specially built for conducting the Athiratra Yagam was tilted to a side. The heavy winds blew away the tin sheets used as a roof at the Annadanam gallery and the huge cut out of the hawk installed at the yagasala fell to the ground. The make-shift pandals at the Yagasala and galleries were also badly damaged. However, the yagam organisers said that they would continue the yagam by rearranging the make-shift yagasala and pandals. The organisers said the heavy rain is a good omen.Rajashekara Sharma, one of the organisers said the heavy rain was the outcome of the yagam.
