New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and his partner Sarah Raheem have now become parents to a baby girl, who happens to be their third child. Williamson announced the birth of the baby girl by sharing a heart-warming post on Instagram.

Williamson uploaded a black-and-white picture of himself holding the newborn baby while his partner held his arm and stood right beside him. In the caption, Williamson wrote, “And then there was three. Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead.”

Kane Williamson and Sarah Raheem are also parents to a one-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter. The couple’s first-ever public appearance came at the Tauranga beach in New Zealand and they have since been spotted holidaying in the countryside several times by the paparazzi. Raheem is a nurse by profession who completed her studies at the University of Bristol, England. She welcomed her first child with Williamson back in 2020.

Coming back to on-field developments, Kane Williamson did not feature in New Zealand’s recent T20I series against Australia. Williamson had applied for paternity leave to be with his wife. He last represented New Zealand against South Africa in a two-match Test series. Williamson was consistent as ever against the Proteas, scoring two centuries in the first Test. He added a third against them and guided the Black Caps to their first-ever Test series triumph.

Kane Williamson is now in 11th place on the list of most Test centuries with 32 tons. He is just one shy of matching England’s Alastair Cook in the 10th position. Before Williamson put up his magnificent Test numbers, Martin Crowe held the record for most Kiwi tons in the format with 17. Williamson will now have the opportunity to double the tally.
