Netgear has announced the launch of Nighthawk Pro Gaming WiFi Router (XR500) at League of Extraordinary Gamers, Indiranagar, Bangalore today. The new NETGEAR Nighthawk Pro Gaming WiFi Router (XR500) aims to optimize network connections by stabilizing ping and reducing lag spikes for better online gameplay. As per the company, the Gaming Dashboard, Geo Filter, Quality of Service (QoS) and Network Monitoring capabilities of the new Wi-Fi router enable customization and an enhanced gaming performance.
Netgear Nighthawk includes hardware features such as a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, Quad-stream Wave 2 WiFi with MU-MIMO, and four external high-power antennas. It is aimed to cater to online gamers, LAN gamers as well as to those wanting to stream high-definition content on their devices.
