Bhushan CD: Court rejects police closure report

New Delhi: A Delhi court has rejected the Delhi Police report to close the case on Shanti Bhushan's complaint that the CD with his purported talk with Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh and Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav was fake.

The court pulled up the Delhi Police for filing a closure report without conducting proper investigations. The court also asked why the police relied only on the opinion of experts and did not find out the motive behind the CD's distribution.

The Delhi court has now directed the police to carry out further investigations and also find out where the CD came from.
