'Better Actor Than Father-in-law': Watch KL Rahul's Hilarious Appeal During India-New Zealand WC Semi-final

Team India have become the first finalists in the ICC World Cup 2023 after their historic win against New Zealand in yesterday’s match. Team India outclassed New Zealand by a commanding 70 runs. Everyone was stunned to see brilliant performances by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, who notched up centuries. Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul further contributed to India’s victory.

Now, a small clip which is going viral shows KL Rahul’s epic expression during an appeal. It happened when Jasprit Bumrah bowled to New Zealand captain Kane Williamson. India Team and KL Rahul went up in appeal for caught behind but the ball had brushed Williamson’s pads. Rahul was asked by Bumrah if the ball had nicked the bat after the on-field umpire didn’t look interested in the appeal.

The wicket-keeper batter, who broke into celebrations, quickly switched from his animated expressions and informed Bumrah that Williamson wasn’t out.

“The fine balance between ‘fake it till you make it’ and ‘keep it real’ successfully unlocked!” commented an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “When she says “I love you too” but adds “you deserve better, any girl would be so lucky to have you.” in the next message.”

“He has been performing incredibly well. Thus, I’ll consider this a cutesy gesture,” commented another user.

Meanwhile, earlier, as Indians celebrated their victory against Sri Lanka, a video which won hearts on social media showed a beaming KL Rahul. It happened when KL Rahul took a marvelous DRS call to dismiss Dusmantha Chameera. On getting it right, Rahul gave a flashy big smile which had the fans in complete awe.

No one else looked interested in going for a review. However, Rahul remained adamant. His decision proved to be a masterstroke.
