Varun Sood Diagnosed With Concussion, Tells Fans 'I Will Be Back Soon'
Actor Varun Sood says he has been advised by the doctors to reduce his screentime.

Varun Sood has been diagnosed with a concussion. Recently, the actor took to his Instagram stories to tell his fans about the same. Varun mentioned that he has been advised by the doctors to reduce his screentime and assured all that he will be back soon. “Hey, I have a concussion. Won’t be able to respond to any messages, been told to avoid screen time. I’ll be back soon!” he wrote.

A concussion also called mild traumatic brain injury (TBI), is an injury to the brain which disrupts how the organ functions. Usually, it is caused by a sudden hit on the head or by violent shaking. It may have several symptoms including headache, confusion, lack of coordination, memory loss, nausea, vomiting or dizziness.

Varun Sood has been a part of the entertainment industry for nine years now. He started his career with Roadies. Recently, Varun was also seen in Karmma Calling, which also starred Raveena Tandon in the lead. Talking about the same, the actor previously told News18 Showsha, “It’s any actor’s dream to work with a legend like Raveena Tandon. She’s humble, down-to-earth and very sweet. She focuses on building on characters. It’s a rare quality in some people – they would rather want the scene to work and not for them to shine. That’s a special quality I saw in her. It was very sweet of her to guide me, help me out with a lot of things, make me comfortable and wish well for everybody on the show.”

“Now, having been a part of a show like this and having done two more shows which are releasing on big platforms, there is a sense of validation that people are appreciating you for the work that you’ve done. It’s a great feeling right now. There is talent behind all of this. Initially, I was confused when all of this started with Roadies, but now it’s a lot more satisfying that people are appreciating you for the art that you give to them,” the actor added.

Meanwhile, if reports are to be believed, Varun Sood will soon also be seen in Ananya Panday’s upcoming Amazon Prime web series, Call Me Bae. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
