As Navratri festivities have kicked off across the country, Shraddha Kapoor sent the sweetest greetings to her fans. The Stree 2 actress shared an adorable picture with her newest family member, her pet dog, on Instagram on the first day of Navratri. Referring to it as her “little kanchka,” she wrote, “Happy Navratri from me and my little kanchka to you all.” For those unaware, Kanjak or Kanchka refers to the young girls who take part in the Kanya Puja on the eighth and ninth days of Navratri.
In the picture, she could be seen inside a lift with her pet dog, posing for the camera in a casual ensemble. Holding her furry friend up close, the diva flaunts a big smile.
Earlier in September, Shraddha Kapoor welcomed a new pup to her home, introducing the adorable “nanhi stree” to Instagram. She shared a series of pictures of her pet dog, further revealing that the dog was a gift from one of her friends. “Mere ghar aayi ek nanhi stree!!! Miliye “Small” se. Humaari nayi family member. Meri dildaar dost @fazaa_s6 ne is choti si khushi ko mujhe gift kiya. Ab ye hua na sabse best tareeka jashn manane ka. Woh toh alag baat hai ki is celebration mein ek koi hai jo kaafi na khush hai,” she wrote in the caption.
The actress already has another pet dog named Shyloh, pictures of whom are present on their social media handle.
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is currently basking in the success of her latest release, Stree 2. Hitting theatres during Independence Day, the film broke several box office records, enjoying a glorious 50-day run across cinema halls. The entire cast and crew of Stree 2 are overwhelmed with the stupendous success. With a collection of Rs 1.8 crore, the film is close to entering the Rs 600 crore club. With the 50th-day collections, the numbers are expected to earn the unimaginable.
Following its successful theatrical run, Stree 2 is now also available for OTT streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
