On the occasion of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Bollywood reception in Mumbai, several bigwigs of Bollywood made a dazzling appearance putting their stylist foot front.
Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Rekha, Hema Malini, Sara Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, AR Rahman, Raveena Tandon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and many more graced the night looking their best.
But the best dressed among the rest were Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone as they turned complete showstoppers looking like true divas in their ethnic outfits.
We have always loved their sartorial choices but this time they showed us how to drape a saree and flaunt a lehenga looking traditional and glamorous at the same time.
At the reception, Katrina made heads turn as she entered in a georgette nude beige saree flipping her slick black hair. The saree was definitely looked rad on Katrina but she subtly dropped hint of a saree trend that might just takeover 2019. We are talking about the organza Butterfly cape, which was hand embroidered in gold and silver sequins. Katrina did win some extra brownie points for her drape. This look was crafted by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosal, who also designed Priyanka's pastel blue bridal outfit for the reception.
Anushka brings the retro look back with her 60s inspired sepia-tinted seafoam cocktail saree which was heavily hand-embroidered with french knots, hand-cut brass sequins and crystals. As she flaunted her pallu, we noticed semi-precious stones embedded giving the entire look a finishing touch.
On the Jewelry front, she also experimented with Zambian emeralds choker and diamond cut, leaf shaped earrings.
The newlyweds, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who have been spotted twinning at several occasions have set couple fashion goals on a higher pedestal. They looked ravishing in black and gold outfits. Deepika flaunted her zardosi lehenga heavily embellished with salma, sitara and zardosi on a golden-tissue lehenga teaming it with a black contrasting khadi choli and a organza dupatta. Deepika completed her look in a green statement jewelry. Anushka and Deepika's outfits were crafted by the ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
