BHUBANESWAR: Two persons were critically injured in separate incidents of stabbing in the City on Wednesday. In the first incident, a youth brutally assaulted his uncle in Panitanki slums near Bapuji Nagar during the evening. Police said the accused Dipak flew into a rage when his uncle Dinabandhu intervened in a family feud. In fact, Dipak used to torture his mother. On Wednesday, he was beating his mother when the uncle tried to stop him. He brought out a sharp weapon and hit him several times. Dinabandhu has been hospitalised with three deep cuts on his body. Dipak is at large. In the second incident, two friends fought for a drink and it turned ugly. One Amrish Khan assaulted his friend Sk Lokman at Azad Nagar slums in Sundarpada. Lokman is struggling for his life in Capital Hospital.
