HYDERABAD: TDP legislators stalled the  proceedings of the House on Thursday for about 15 minutes demanding probe into the allotment of government lands to private parties in Hyderabad. As they continued their protests, speaker N Manohar adjourned the House for 30 minutes. The Opposition MLAs moved an adjournment motion demanding discussion on the  allotments of government lands in Hyderabad but it was disallowed by the speaker.  Citing media reports on the irregularities in government land allotments in Hyderabad by a senior IAS officer, TDP MLAs demanded the state government to order a probe into the alleged irregularities and rushed towards the speaker’s podium pressing for a discussion on the issue.Legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu and tourism minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar stated that it has become a routine affair for the Opposition legislators to rush into the well of the House on every small issue. They said that the MLAs were trying to pressurise the Chair through their aggressive behaviour. With the TDP legislators showing no restraint, the speaker adjourned the House for half-an-hour.
