CHENNAI: Actor Sona Heiden lodged a complaint on Monday with the suburban police seeking help to recover rental advance and goods worth Rs 6 lakh kept inside her furniture factory, which she had taken on rent at Porur.In her complaint, Sona Heiden of Trustpuram, Kodambakkam, said she had taken on rent a space owned by four people at Alapakkam, Porur, for manufacturing furniture. She claimed that as per the agreement, she had given three months notice to one of the owners in March, as she wanted to shift the factory to Padappai. She further that she had asked the owners to return the rental advance she had paid after deducting three months’ rent. “But the owner refused to pay back the advance money despite writing a letter to them that she was ready to hand  over the keys of the factory in return for the advance money. But they did not accept,” Sona said in her complaint.But last month, the actor alleged that the lock of the factory was broken and products worth `6 lakh inside were reportedly damaged.Man Arrested for Raping Minor GirlA 21-year-old man was arrested reportedly for kidnapping and raping a minor girl at Ambattur on Monday. Murali (21) was arrested for kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old girl from Venkatapuram, Ambattur. Police said that they lived in the same area and Murali was in love with the girl. The girl’s mother lodged a complaint with the police that when she and her daughter had gone to a nearby shop, two days back, Murali had reportedly kidnapped the girl and took her to a lonely place and raped her. Following her complaint, Murali was arrested. Police said the girl had reportedly undergone a medical test and is in the women’s home at Mylapore.Alleged of Throwing Son on Railway TrackThe body of a one-year-old boy found on a railway track at Annanur railway station was identified as the infant’s mother alleged her husband of murdering her son on Monday.Police said they found the body of the baby boy Anthony Samy in two pieces on the tracks of Annanur railway station on June 3. Photographs of the infant were pasted in all police stations as he could not be identified. Anthony’s mother Sophia of Chinnamman Koil street, who went to the Avadi police station to lodge a complaint of her missing son, found the photograph in the station and informed police that it was her son Anthony. Avadi police directed her to Avadi railway police to whom she claimed that her husband Kumar had murdered her son. Kumar, a daily wage labourer reportedly used to pick up fights with his wife after getting drunk. Fed up, Sophia went away to her native Thanjavur. But Kumar convinced her and brought her back. On June 3, the woman had woken up to see her son missing. Police are investigating.Broker Arrested for `31 Lakh FraudA real estate broker was arrested for allegedly cheating employees of Chennai Doordarshan Kendra after taking a total of `31 lakh from them and issuing fake allotment orders of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to them. Ravichandran was arrested by CCB sleuths in Madurai on June 11. Earlier, DD Kendra clerk Vardarajanwas arrested in the case.
