BANGALORE: Following the bomb blast in the Delhi High Court, the city police have tightened security around the High Court.On Wednesday, a low intensity bomb exploded outside the busy Delhi High Court triggering panic, however, no one was reported injured. The explosive was kept in a packet near a car that belonged to a lawyer.The security officials, however, were given advisories from the US, UK and Australia warning of "imminent" terror attacks in New Delhi.The High Court police said said that all security measures are in place and personnel at all entry gates have been asked for follow all parameters."All gates in High Court have high security,while nobody can enter without passing the security. We also have sniffer dogs on site," High Court police station, Sub Inspector Ramegowda added.Meanwhile, the State Transport Corporation has asked its employees to be vigilant in bus stands. At the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Majestic Bus stand, police personnel with dogsquad were seen securing the area on Thursday afternoon. Even the entry into the bus station was manned by security guards who were monitoring the movement of travellers."The security of the Kempe Gowda Bus Station is being taken care by the police. Security measures such as dog squad are brought in, as and when it is required," a senior KSRTC official said.The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has asked its security staff to be more vigilant. An official informed that it was difficult to set up check points in BMTC bus stations.
