“I've been obsessed with his cinema since I was a little girl, especially now, because now it is also a personal experience. He is a very important person in my life, not only in my career but also he is one of my best friends. If someone told me that I can only choose one director to work with for the rest of my life. It's absolutely clear for me that it would be with him,” says Cruz.
The film, which means – broken embraces – , revolves around a writer who tells the story about an accident that left him blind 14 years earlier and a torrid relationship with an actress played by Cruz.
