Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and his supporters have decided to organise a mammoth public rally at Davangere in November as a prelude to their decision to float a new political outfit.
The convention is tentatively scheduled for November 19.
As per the plans, the group wants to organise three to four lakh people from all across the state to make it a big success and also send a strong message to the both state and central BJP leaders.
“It is nothing but a show of strength. Immediately after the convention, he (Yeddyurappa) is planning to launch his new party,” sources close to the former chief minister said.
