New Delhi: Finally, after a long wait, Nokia has launched its new Lumia smartphones - Lumia 920, Lumia 820, and Lumia 620 - in India.
The Nokia Lumia 920 will be available to Indian consumers at a price of Rs 38,199, while the Nokia Lumia 820 is priced at Rs 27,559. However, the company has not yet disclosed the pricing details of the Lumia 620, which is said to be the most affordable in its range of Windows Phone 8 smartphones.
The company said, the price of the Nokia Lumia 620 will be announced closer to its market availability.
These smartphones are available at a lesser price on Saholic.com. The Nokia Lumia 920 is available on Saholic.com for Rs 36,499, while the Lumia 820 is up for sale on the site for Rs 26,499. Both phones run Microsoft's latest Windows Phone 8 OS.
The Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will be available in select retail stores across key cities starting Jan 11, 2013, while the Nokia Lumia 620 will start retailing in early February, 2013.
The Lumia 920 is Nokia's new flagship phone. The lenses on its camera shift to compensate for shaky hands, resulting in sharper images in low light and smoother video capture, Nokia said. It can also be charged without being plugged in; the user just places it on a wireless charging pod. The Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch display, 1GB RAM, and 32 GB mass memory.
Nokia also introduced optical image stabilisation for the clearest, brightest
pictures and video even when shooting indoors or at night.
The Lumia 820, on the other hand, is a cheaper, mid-range Windows Phone 8 phone. It doesn't have the special camera lenses, but it sports exchangeable backs so you can switch colors. It has a 4.3-inch OLED display, 1GB RAM, and 8 GB mass memory, support for microSD cards up to 32GB. Like the Nokia Lumia 920, the Nokia Lumia 820 also boasts the world's most sensitive touchscreen and Nokia Clear Black display technology or easy visibility in the brightest sunlight.

Nokia Lumia 920 will be available in yellow, red, white and black. Nokia Lumia 820 will come in red, yellow, cyan, white and black, while Nokia Lumia 620 will come in magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black.
