HYDERABAD: Telangana MPs will raise the issue of the selfimmolation of MBA student Bhojya Naik in Parliament, Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy said on Sunday.After a meeting of Telangana Congress MPs at the residence of panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy, he said they would prepare an action plan after consultations with other MPs in Delhi on Monday on what to do in Parliament over Telangana issue. Suicides are increasing due to the delay in the creation of separate state, he said and urged ministers and MLAs to take initiative in this regard.MP Manda Jagannadham said some people were making provocative statements on Telangana issue. Some leaders are spreading negative propaganda over Telangana and those remarks are hurting the sentiments of the people.He appealed to students not to take extreme steps and instead fight for separate state. Replying to allegation made by same party leaders that he was responsible for party’s defeat in byelections in Mahbubnagar district, Jagannadham said he could not participate in election campaign due to pain to the leg.The minister concerned and other leaders are responsible for the poll loss, he said. MP Rajaiah said development would be possible only with smaller states.He appealed to the party high command to start the Telangana state formation process.He said the MPs would fight for separate state while strengthening the party in Telangana region.
