Bigg Boss Marathi 5 Winner Suraj Chavan Meets Fans In Hometown Despite Feeling Feverish: Reports

Suraj Chavan was declared the winner of the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 grand finale which took place on October 6, Sunday evening. Suraj won a trophy, Rs 14.6 lakh prize money, Rs 10 lakh jewellery voucher and a two-wheeler vehicle. The BB Marathi 5 winner was accorded a hero’s welcome in the Modhave village, located in Baramati tehsil of Pune district in Maharashtra, his home town.

According to reports, he met his followers, consuming little or no food and only surviving on water for a whole day. Suraj was reportedly surrounded by so many followers that he had to spend a day meeting and clicking pictures with them. His fans had arrived from the districts Beed, Satara and Sangli to meet him. Without getting slightly irritated, he clicked pictures with everyone and also danced to the DJ. Despite feeling feverish, the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 winner kept meeting all the fans with the same energy till night.

After the win, Suraj also paid a visit to his fellow contestant, model and actress Irina Rudakova. They were spotted worshipping at a temple. During his stint in Bigg Boss Marathi 5, Suraj was seen many times mentioning and respecting the revered goddess. Irina has worked as a cheerleader for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the Indian Premier League. She shot to stardom during her stint as a cheerleader in the tournament.

Talking about Suraj’s win in the BB Marathi 5, it came after a difficult competition with singer and actor Abhijeet Sawant. Sawant finished as the first runner-up, alongside actress Nikki Tamboli, who got her place in the top three contestants. The Bigg Boss Marathi 5 finale was a star-studded affair, featuring important appearances by the upcoming Bollywood film Jigra’s cast. The star cast comprised actors Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and director Vasan Bala.

Suraj Chavan has faced many hardships on the personal front. He lost his father to cancer and then, on the same day, lost both his mother and grandmother. Suraj and his five sisters had to look after themselves as they were left orphaned at a young age.
