New Delhi: The 23-year-old gangrape survivor's health remains a big concern. Doctors say she remains in a critical condition in Safdarjung Hospital. On Monday night, her condition took a turn for the worse as doctors indicated she had more internal bleeding. But on the positive side, doctors say she is responding to treatment.

Earlier on Monday, doctors had said that she was conscious and communicating. They also said that her Platelet count has going down from 19000 to 17000.

Psychiatrist Dr Rajesh Rastogi said in spite of fragile health she is reasonably stable mentally. "The rape survivor was subjected to a psychological test. We spoke to her parents also, in spite of fragile health she is reasonably stable mentally." Dr Rajesh Rastogi said.

Doctors said that they were providing frozen plasma and Pleiotrophin (PTN) to improve her blood coagulation power. Frozen plasma contains all coagulation factors.
