CHENNAI: Bharat kalachar is inaugurating its Yuva Utsav (Youth Cultural Festival) from September 24 to October 5 at Sri YGP Auditorium, 17 Thirumalai Road, T Nagar. Bharat Kalachar is awarding cultural scholarships of around 60nos every to be continued for three years for the students of PSBB group of scholls in recognition of their talent in the field of classical music and dance. These scholarships are sponsored by Nalli in association with Bharat Kalachar. This has triggered many young students to learn classical music and dance. Bharat Kalachar has been awarding these cultural scolarships for the last 23 years.On the inaugural day on September 24, 4:30pm onwards, there will be a nadaswaram recital by Mylai R Mahendran along with S shivaraj, Mylai S Gajendran and S Raju. This will be followed by the inaugural function, 7pm onwards. Vinisha Kathiravan will also be performing a Bharatnatyam recital.
