Cases of sexual abuse have been increasing day by day. A similar incident was reported in the state of West Bengal. According to the reports, a woman complained that a man was taking videos while she was bathing in a bathroom. The incident has created a massive stir in the entire area. People were shocked after learning about the incident. The woman is a resident of Malda, West Bengal. She was bathing, when she suddenly noticed a man who was trying to take her pictures. She somehow managed to escape the situation and catch the culprit red-handed. A report by Local 18 suggested that the man is a construction worker. He was allegedly trying to take videos of the woman through a hole in the bathroom’s ventilator. She noticed the phone and caught the man.
The woman then called her family member who informed the nearby English Bazar police station. Some construction work was going on right next to the woman’s house and the man reportedly was working on that site. While she was bathing, the accused worker allegedly tried to record a video of her. The woman has registered a written complaint against the man.
After the woman noticed, she shouted, alarming the local residents. He was then caught on the spot. The police arrived after being informed and took the accused into custody. The officials mentioned that they have registered the complaint of the woman and are investigating the case. The local area councillor also was present at the place and demanded strict action against the accused.
In July, a similar incident emerged in which a 25-year-old was arrested for making videos of a girl while she was bathing. It was reported from the Kapashera area of Delhi. The man, Anoop Kumar used to work as a gardener in a nearby house. Initially, when the girl shouted, the accused tried to flee from the spot but was caught by family members and neighbours.
