BANGALORE: The city police have clamped ban on liquor sale in the shops near Shivajinagar surroundings on the eve of Ganesha processions on Sunday.The liquor shops will be closed in the police station limits of Commercial Street, Shivajinagar and Bharati Nagar between 9am and 9.30am.Around 40 Ganesha idols would be taken in a procession by thousands of devotees through Veerapillai Street, Jewellery Street, Dharmaraja Temple Road, Seppings Road, Thimmaiah Road, Kamaraj Road, Shivanachetty Garden, St John’s Road, ASM Road on their way to Halasur Lake.
