Jodhpur: Self styled godman Asaram's lawyer has moved court to restrain the police from leaking information about the case to the media. The court has forwarded that application to the prosecution. Asaram is in judicial custody over charges of sexual assault on a minor girl.
Earlier in the day the Jodhpur Police said that it received fresh complaints against Asaram Bapu even as it dispatched teams to the Ahmedabad ashram of the self-styled godman to collect evidence in the sexual assault case against him. Many victims have started coming forward with their complaints against Asaram,
The police without disclosing the nature of the complaint or the identity of the alleged victims, said that many victims have started coming forward with their complaints against Asaram. They have also reportedly offered to help the police in its investigation.
