AG, AAG take charge

KOCHI: K P Dhandapani and P C Iype took charge as the AdvocateGeneral (AG) and Additional AdvocateGeneral (AAG) respectively, on Thursday.
Both took charge at a simple function held at the AG's chamber. Outgoing AG C P Sudhakara Prasad received Dhandapani and Iype at the chamber. The new AG took charge after seeking the blessings of his elder brother K P Sathyamoorthy. Family members of the new AG and AAG, former AAG Ranjith Thampan, Hibi Eden MLA, former directorgeneral of prosecution Raveendranath, former AG Ratna Singh and advocates were present on the occasion. After the function, the new AG and the AAG appeared in the court on behalf of the government in different cases.
