An 85-year-old woman on Monday lodged a police complaint against her sons at Telangana’s Karimnagar, alleging that they had abandoned her and not provided her food.
According to sub-inspector, the woman identified as Narsavva, a resident of Alugunuru village of Karimnagar district, came to the police station along with some local people and complained about her sons’ ill-treatment.
She has three surviving sons, two daughters and also had another son who passed away. As per Deccan Chronicle, she had distributed her property equally among all her children and kept around 10 guntas of land in her own name. Apart from the elder daughter all her children lived in the same village.
Narsavva claimed that for the past few days her sons stopped looking after her due to some family dispute and did bit even feed her. Thereby, she came to the police station with the help of locals and lodged a complaint against the sons.
The police accompanied Narsavva to her village upon receiving the complaint and resolved the issue by having a conversation her sons. Upon having a settlement, the elderly woman took her complaint back.
