Bareilly: The district authorities in Bareilly have detected the inclusion of names of seven Pakistani nationals in the voters list and ordered an inquiry into it.
With the help of the intelligence inputs it has been found that the names of seven Pakistani nationals have been included in the voters list and they have also been issued voter I-cards, officials said.
It has also been found that ration cards too have been issued in the names of these people, they said, adding a thorough inquiry has been ordered in this connection and all those found guilty would be suitably punished.
Meanwhile, the Additional District Electoral officer has issued directives to start proceedings to delete their names from the voters list.
Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are scheduled early 2012.
