CUTTACK: City police on Tuesday arrested two gangsters in connection with the firing on antisocial Chaga alias Vivekananda Sahoo of Patra Sahi on May 7.
Though police have not revealed, who was behind the attack, the two Susha alias Sushant Swain of Banki and Ajay Behera of Jobra are said to have fired on Chaga. An automatic pistol and three rounds of cartridges have been seized from their possession. The two were nabbed from the vicinity of Pareshwar temple under Malgodown police limits on Monday night when they were allegedly planning a crime.

They have allegedly confessed to have been involved in the shooting on Chaga, who had a close shave with the bullet scraping his back. The shooting was a fallout of gang rivalry, police said. Susha has nine cases pending against him in different police stations here.
