These questions are sure to make your opponent laugh. Who says a game of Guess Who HAS to be serious? Challenge yourself by only asking silly or goofy questions to win the game. Try asking questions about the character’s personality or who their celebrity look-alike would be. There are no rules to how wild you can be! Does your person own a dog and dress them up? Would they go to the gym 23 hours a day? Do they look like they wouldn’t give you your security deposit back? Is your person a “mean girl”? Does your person have outstanding warrants? Has your person ever thought about joining a cult? Does your character think the Earth is flat? Is your character a werewolf? Does your person pour milk before the cereal? Would your person be mistaken for Taylor Swift? Would they turn up late for a shift at Starbucks? Does your person own a lizard? Would your person survive a zombie apocalypse?
Subjective Guess Who Questions
These questions are all about personality and opinion. A game of Guess Who doesn’t have to be boring and straightforward! Add a little edge to your game by only asking questions that are subjective (that relate to the character’s possible feelings or opinions). Check out the list below for inspiration: Is your person in a serious relationship? Does your character have a girlfriend? Does your person look like they would be mean to waiters? Would your person eat pizza with a knife and fork? Would they take you on a date and pay the bill? Would your person be likely to throw a duck-themed party? Is your person heterosexual? Would you say your person is a democrat? Would they be a golden retriever boyfriend? Does your person have a hidden talent? Do they believe in ghosts? Would your person win a fist fight? Does your person like pineapple on pizza? Would your character color their hair? Does your character like fast food?
Straightforward Guess Who Questions
These questions are for intense games of Guess Who only. No laughing allowed. Only seriousness. That is, if you want to play with these questions! Keep your Guess Who game solemn and intellectual by asking these questions with a stone-cold face: Is your character showing their teeth? Is your character wearing a bow tie? Does your character have wrinkles? Would your character go to the hair salon? Do they go to the optometrist? Does your character have braces? Do they have a round head? Are they a ginger? Feature-Based Guess Who Questions
These questions are based on how a character looks. Classically, Guess Who is played by asking your opponent about their character’s physical appearance. While these questions may seem basic, they’re extremely effective and may help you win the game! Does your person have a beard? Does your person have long hair? Is your person bald? Are you wearing glasses? Do they have a small nose? Do they have red cheeks? Are they wearing a hat? Is your person wearing jewelry? Is your person smiling? Are they frowning? Does your person have blue eyes? Do they have a mustache? Do you have a big nose? Are you wearing earrings?
How to Win Guess Who
Focus on eliminating half of your opponent’s board strategically. Guess Who may seem like a simple game—it was made for kids after all—but there’s a lot of strategy that goes into it. The best Guess Who players have a few key strategies so they always win: Ask questions strategically. Start with broad questions, and then narrow your search. The more characters you can eliminate in the beginning, the better. Think statistically. Ask questions about the most common characteristics first. For instance, “Do you have glasses?” can eliminate half the board right away. Eliminate half the board. Divide the board into two sections or categories, then work from there. For example, you may ask, “Are you a boy?” if you divide the board by gender.
