London: England striker Daniel Sturridge is in doubt for the team's opening European Championship qualifier against Switzerland on Monday after getting hurt in training.
The English Football Association says Sturridge, England's first-choice central striker alongside Wayne Rooney, "felt an injury in training this morning and will go for a scan this afternoon."
The other strikers in England's squad for the Group E match in Basel are Rickie Lambert, Sturridge's team-mate at Liverpool, and Danny Welbeck.
