The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has made available the WBCS Prelims Result 2024. The result PDF is available for download on the official website, psc.wb.gov.in, for candidates who took the preliminary written test.
Following their successful completion of the preliminary test, 4,690 students are eligible to take the main exam. The WBCS Prelims test was held on December 16, 2023, at numerous exam sites.
WBCS Prelims Result 2024: How to Download
Step 1: Visit the official website, pcs.wb.gov.in.
Step 2: On the site, choose the Announcements tab.
Step 3: Select the link that says “ROLL NUMBERS OF 4960 CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN QUALIFIED PROVISIONALLY FOR THE FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION IN WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICES (EXE.) ETC. (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2023.”
Step 4: The preliminary results PDF will be shown on the screen.
Step 5: Save a copy of the WBCS Prelims result PDF for future reference.
The WBCS Prelims answer key was made available on December 23, 2023, and the objection window was open until January 5. The WBCS Preliminary exam consisted of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The main test will comprise both objective and essay-based questions. Candidates must complete both phases to be considered for the last round of selection process.
The WBPSC preliminary examination is a screening examination. After this point, the marks will have no further use and will not be taken into consideration for the final choice. Those who pass the preliminary exams can go on to write the main examination, which consists of six required papers and two optional questions. Your mains scores will be taken into account while creating the final merit list.
