The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the application correction process of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2024 today, February 11. Those who applied for the exam can modify the particulars in their already submitted registration form on the official website at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. The application correction window will close at 11:50 pm on February 13.
“The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 13 February 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI,” reads the official notice by the agency.
CUET PG 2024: What Can You Edit?
Candidates can change their name or father’s name or mother’s name or photograph or signature. They can change their class 10 and class 12 details, graduation, and post-graduation details. They are also allowed to change their exam city preferences, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, and PwBD.
Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any, the NTA stated.
Candidates must note that they are not allowed to change their email address, permanent address, and mobile number.
It is a one-time facility and candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity will be given to the candidates for the same, the NTA further stated.
CUET PG 2024: How to Edit Application Correction Window?
Step 1: Visit the official website at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the application correction link.
Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and make the required changes.
Step 4: Pay the necessary fees, if any.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the acknowledgment form for future reference.
As per the official schedule, the admit cards for CUET PG 2024 will be available on March 7, and the exam is scheduled from March 11 to 28. The exam will be held for 1 hour 45 minutes or 105 minutes. It will take place in three shifts — 9 AM to 10:45 AM, 12:45 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:15 PM. Candidates taking the CUET PG 2024 test will have to answer 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
CUET PG 2024 is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes at central and participating universities. The NTA also announced that 230 universities, including central, state, private, and deemed universities, will offer PG admissions through CUET PG 2024. Participating institutions include Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Allahabad, Aligarh Muslim University, Central University of Hyderabad, and Jamia Millia Islamia.
