When Sushmita Sen Left This Akshay Kumar Film Midway Due To Daughter’s Illness

She revealed that once she had to leave a film — which had Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in it — mid-way, because her elder daughter Renee’s health deteriorated. Sushmita Sen was referring to the 2004-hit film Aitraaz. She had even stated that she had shot some parts when she got to know that her daughter was not well. At that time, she made a firm decision to leave the film midway. She took a flight and went straight to her daughter. The makers also understood her point and didn’t make a fuss about it. When this happened, some other people from the industry accused her of being unprofessional. After Sushmita’s exit, the role went to Priyanka Chopra, and the film became a huge hit. Later, Sushmita adopted another daughter, Alisah.

Even though Sushmita Sen has two daughters, she decided not to get married. She has always been in the middle of controversy due to her alleged relationships. Once, she was in the limelight when it was found that she was allegedly dating former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram. The two were considered one of the most charming couples in the industry.
