The highly anticipated trailer of Kannada superstar Ganesh’s upcoming film, Banadariyalli, was unveiled to the public yesterday, creating a buzz of excitement among fans. A special event was organized by the film’s makers to mark the trailer’s release, and it quickly became a sensation on social media platforms, with numerous photos from the event going viral.
The trailer launch event, held in Bangalore, was a grand celebration that brought together the entire cast, crew, and makers of the film. The lead actors, in particular, shone brightly in the shared pictures. During the event, the charismatic Golden Star Ganesh interacted with the audience and took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reminiscing about his early days in the industry.
Ganesh revealed a touching anecdote from his past when he faced financial difficulties, to the point where he couldn’t even afford to refuel his motorcycle. Banadariyalli marks the fourth collaboration between Ganesh and director Preetham Gubbi, further adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
The movie is under the direction of Preetham Gubbi and is produced by the Sri Vaare Talkies banner. Alongside Ganesh, the cast includes talented actors such as Reeshma Nanaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, Rangayana Rahu, and others. Ganesh, often referred to as Golden Star Ganesh embarked on his acting career through television shows before gaining recognition as the host of the popular comedy talk show Comedy Time, which aired on Udaya TV. His talent and popularity on the show opened doors for him in the film industry, leading to his debut as a villain in the 2002 film Tapori. His breakthrough as a leading actor came in 2006 with Chellata, where he starred opposite Rekha Vedavyas.
It was the iconic film Mungaru Male in 2006, directed by Yograj Bhat and co-written by Preetham Gubbi, that catapulted Ganesh to superstardom. His on-screen chemistry with Pooja Gandhi in the film resonated with audiences, and Mungaru Male set a national record by running for over a year in PVR cinemas.
