Watch: Pet Parents Search For Missing Husky Using Drone Only To Find Him Playing With Bears
The Kamchatka bears or the Siberian brown bears are the largest brown bear in Eurasia.

Imagine a pet dog coming across a group of wild bears. Most of us would think that the bears will fatally attack the dog in the worst-case scenario, or the animals will run away from each other. However, a strange video has surfaced that shows a pet dog playfully interacting with a group of bears. Reportedly, a husky’s owners used a drone to look for their missing pet after the dog did not return home.

The drone footage captured their dog trailing a group of Siberian brown bears. The bear seemed unbothered by the dog who walked alongside them and even circled them excitedly.

At one point, a bear tries to push away the husky when the dog comes too close, but otherwise, the bear does not react violently towards the pet. The incident reportedly took place in Kamchatka, Russia. Now this undated drone footage is going viral across social media. It is unclear if the dog returned to its owners or wandered away with the bears. This video was shared on Instagram on Monday, where it gathered over 15 lakh likes.

In the comments, many people joked that the husky won over the bears with its cheerful personality. An Instagram user wrote, “I think this is a super tired mama bear with two over-dependent cubs and she is just happy they got some company and not harassing her for a little while.”

Another person commented, “Bears think it’s a wolf. Lone wolves have been known to befriend Bears. Especially if they were somehow left behind by the WolfPack. Due to some injury or disease. Bears have been known to accommodate wolves in such cases.”

An Instagram user opined, “Lol must have been a smart momma bear. Most likely realised the dog wasn’t a threat but also not worth the risk of hunting. Then probably noticed its cubs weren’t afraid and also interested in a non-hostile way. Would have been amazing if they were able to capture the first encounter.”

Someone recalled how their husky “befriended coyotes” and wrote, “Freakin huskies. We adopted one after it was running with a pack of coyotes for 6 months but then got bored. Great temperament, but they love to wander. “ Another husky owner wrote, “Haha this is amazing. Whenever my huskies go missing…I’m always worried about them running with the wolves and not coming back. Never thought about bears!!”
