The clip was reshared on social media platform X (Formerly Twitter). The video shows a baby elephant at the Prague zoo. The clip opens with two jumbos roaming inside their habitat on a bright sunny day. The baby jumbo then decided it was time for a quick nap in the most unexpected spot – right in the middle of the play area.

As the video progressed, the calf, likely fatigued, plopped down on the ground for the snooze. The moment got even more heart-warming when the alert and caring mother elephant realised that her little one was completely out for the count and appeared concerned.

With a gentle nudge and a soft trumpet, the mama elephant tried her best to wake the calf. But, the baby was in no mood to wake up. Using her instinct, the mama elephant then turned to the zookeepers for assistance, who hurried to the scene as soon as they saw the concerned mother’s efforts. They were able to awaken the sleeping baby elephant with some gentle persuading. The baby elephant finally woke up and returned to his mother. In this adorable incident, the baby elephant’s nap steals the limelight.
