India’s Praveen Prajapat left the audiences awe-struck with his act on the July 9 episode of America’s Got Talent. The Rajasthan man’s ability to balance multiple glasses of water on his head earned him a standing ovation from judge Sofia Vergara in the middle of his performance but failed to impress Simon Cowell.
The four judges on America’s Got Talent had a rare dissent and expressed differing views on Praveen Prajapat’s balancing performance.
At the end of the act, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel stood up to praise the young performer, but Simon Cowell stayed seated and clapped impassively.
In the act, Praveen Prajapat placed a stack of glass cups on his head, topped with an earthen pot. While dancing, he also balanced his feet on two glass cups. “I have trained two or three hours every day for the last 10 years just for this moment," he told the judges in the video. The young man further claimed that he inherited the talent from his father.

The show’s judge Howie Mandel termed the balancing act “amazing," while Heidi Klum called it “so beautiful to watch."
Sofia Vergara, who was visibly impressed, told the Rajasthan native that he would do well in the competition.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, the sole judge who remained underwhelmed, asked what Praveen Prajapat would add to the performance next.
In response, the reality show participant said he could balance four LPG gas cylinders and 101 earthen pots on his head.
Following this exchange, the other three judges supported Praveen but Cowell was still not impressed.
Praveen Prajapat is not new to reality TV, having previously appeared on India’s Got Talent Season 9.
Additionally, 9-year-old Pranysqa Mishral surprised the judges and audience on America’s Got Talent 2024 days ago with her singing talent. Mishra delivered her lyrics with extraordinary clarity and demonstrated a wide vocal range for her age, particularly during the solo sections.
Heidi Klum hit the Golden Buzzer after seeing her version of Tina Turner’s River Deep – Mountain High that also impressed the other judges.
