According to a report by Daily Star, Deanna Castro, a flight attendant with around 16 years of experience, shared some crucial tips that passengers should keep in mind while flying, in an interview with InsideHook. She first mentioned that when passengers board the plane, they often start placing their hand luggage in the overhead compartment immediately, blocking the aisle. According to Deanna, this is not the correct approach. Instead, passengers should first sit on their seats and allow others behind them to take their seats. Only then the passengers should place their luggage.

She also advised passengers to follow the same etiquette while deboarding the plane. Deanna said, “The passengers should let those seated ahead of them deboard the plane first and not rush while getting off. Rushing inside the plane may cause more problems.” She added that the planed should also carry some medicines in case they fall ill while travelling. “Many people vomit while travelling and hand over the bag to the flight attendants. Instead, they should place the bag under their seat,” she said.

Deanna also shared an important tip about clothes that you should prefer wearing while travelling on the plane. She advised that people should not wear shorts while travelling in the plane as various surfaces inside the plane can contain a lot of germs which can attract several health issues. She also shared very important advice for people who mostly prefer window seats. She said, “A person sitting beside the window should avoid touching or leaning against the plane’s window. I can be dangerous if some mishaps take place.”
