It won’t be wrong to say that our country harbours a lot of hidden talent, waiting to be discovered and polished. While not many find the right opportunity to nurture their talent, the advent of social media has helped to shed light on many such individuals. One such video of a young panipuri seller has recently gone viral, where he displays an amazing skill of mimicry. He has won hearts on the internet by mimicking popular cartoon characters from the animated TV show Oggy and the Cockroaches.
In the now-viral clip, the panipuri seller walks across a narrow lane with his unique calling as he mimics Oggy and says, “Aee Bhaiya! Golgappe woh bhi masaledar.” Adding more to it, the seller even imitates Oggy’s brother Jack and calls out, “Oye Munna! Sabhi khayenge tabhi toh apna dhandha badhega na.”

Social media users were highly impressed with the young man’s mimicking skills. One wrote, “Someone take this boy in the voice-over industry. His talent is being wasted in selling panipuri,” while another noted, “Your efforts will definitely be successful one day brother. KEEP IT UP.” Someone said, “Absolutely! India has a rich pool of talent across various fields.”
This is not the only video of the panipuri seller. In another one, he could be seen posing as a biryani seller, once again mimicking the voice of the cartoon character to grab people’s attention. The videos have been shared on the Instagram handle of a dubbing artist, Jitender Kumar.

Panipuri continues to remain a central point of discussion online, often going viral for a lot of bizarre reasons. Earlier in July, an automatic panipuri vending machine took the internet by storm from Bengaluru’s HSR layout. An X user shared a picture of the stall with the vending machine that is titled WTF—What the Flavours. The idea of the stall was to give the customers the freedom to choose the flavours and maintain hygiene.

However, the idea left internet users divided, with many doubting the effectiveness of the automated machines. One asked, “So that pani puri liquid that overflows…does it get recycled or drained?”
