Palazzo Made Out Of Gunny Sack Shocks Fashion Fans With Its Price Tag
Palazzo is all the rage in the fashion world because of its versatility as it can be paired with crop tops, kurtis and even t-shirts.

The world of fashion is ever-evolving. New styles and trends often take the market by storm. Quickly, the world moves on to the next best thing. Palazzo has been one of women’s go-to pieces of clothing for the last decade, at least. The loose and relaxed fit of a Palazzo makes it an excellent choice of wear – from casual to party outfits. This clothing item is still all the rage in the fashion industry, and why not? You can pair it with crop tops, kurtis and T-shirts, making it quite versatile. Now a video has gone viral where a Palazzo has been made from quite an unlikely material and is being sold inside a mall. What has left people gasping is also the price tag.

A viral video was shared by Mohammed Sadiq Qadri of a palazzo, made of a gunny sack. There is no information regarding which place is this clothing item being sold. But if you take a good look at the clip, the name of the company that made the Palazzo can be seen, which is, Holy Fashion. Its office is in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The sack-made Palazzo was put on a display inside the mall, which caught the public eye. If the material was not revolting enough, the price was. The person checking out the Palazzo showed the price tag on it, which read Rs 60,000.

The video has received 93.9 million views on Instagram. Upon seeing the clip, people were appalled by the price while some joked about the material. After all, in Indian households such sacks are used for storing wheat or rice, while many often use it as a mat. A user wrote, “My leg already feels itchy, just looking at it.” Another commented, “How to fool people? Make it a fashion.” A user jokingly wrote, “How did my buffalo’s winter outfit reach them?” One more added, “For those wondering why this is expensive, it is GST inclusive.”

Generally, gunny or burlap sacks are quite cheap and can cost as low as Rs 60. However, seeing this material being used to make Palazzos and selling for Rs 60,000 has left people baffled.
