A grey shirt, blue hoodie, jeans and Nikes are probably what you have seen Mark Zuckerberg sporting if you have followed him over the years. Since we know that the Facebook CEO loves pigeon grey T-shirts that are specially ordered from Brunello Cucinelli, we may conclude that he is not immune to fashion. But announcing AI updates whilst putting on a gold chain was out of 2024’s playbook. At this point, if the tech billionaire released a mixtape about algorithms, we wouldn’t be shocked. But what has taken us aback is the fact that he is probably a ‘chain’ guy now and is even showing that off.
Zuck posted a video on Instagram showing off his new “epic chain,” that he received as a present from American artist and rapper T-Pain. Sharing the video on his page, he added, “Thanks T-Pain for the epic new chain.” The famous triangle pendant, which the singer frequently flashes, is attached to the chain. Moreover, the Facebook boss chose the moment to reveal a unique aspect of his AI research framework.
“Perfect opportunity to show how the new Segment Anything AI research model we’re releasing today can track different objects in the same video. Lots of fun video effects will be possible with this,” he wrote. In the video, Zuckerberg grinned, pulled out the gold necklace, and exclaimed, “That’s awesome.” The movie changed to display different aspects of the AI model while he wore it.
T-Pain responded to Zuckerberg’s video by posting a reply in the comments section. He commented, “Looks great on you, buddy. Thanks for being a great friend.” Zuckerberg responded, calling it a “great chain” and expressing excitement for future adventures.
A user commented, “We have Zuck with drip before GTA VI.” Another person said, “Zuck 2.0 is WILD.” A third user mentioned, “The chain game continues!”
Zuckerberg disclosed on The Circuit with Emily Chang that he and his family have a unique significance for their gold chain. He explained that he collaborated with a designer to create this item, which features an inscribed prayer he reads to his daughters before bed each night. He explained that it’s a Jewish prayer known as Mi Shebeirach. “And it’s basically a prayer for health and courage,” he added.
