It is often seen that if the company or employer is not happy with the work of its employees, it starts giving indications about this. Even if the boss does not say anything directly, he often harasses the employee by finding fault in his work unnecessarily. One smart employer reportedly took an entirely different route recently to convey this message. This incident has come to light from China. A Chinese company played such a trick that its employees started resigning from their jobs on their own. For this, neither did he have to point out unnecessary mistakes nor was anyone asked to resign, people automatically left from there. Wondering how? Let us explain.
According to the South China Morning Post, this case is from Shanxi province. It claimed that an advertising company’s entire office was shifted to the hills. Old employees who have resigned from the company said that the office was deliberately shifted to the hilly area. This was done so that the employees leave the job on their own and the company does not have to compensate them for firing them.
An employee named Chang said that he was told that the office has been shifted to Qinling Hill and he will have to come here daily. There is very little public transport in the hilly area and it would take at least 2 hours to reach. The fare for one day was Rs 663, for which one had to walk 3 kilometres. The company was neither providing transport nor was going to pay the charges for it.
Employees claim that there were no facilities like toilets in the office and there were a lot of stray dogs. In such a situation, 14 out of 20 employees resigned. Interestingly, just 4 days after his resignation, the company was shifted back to the city and new hiring started. The company is now threatening a lawsuit against those employees who are tarnishing its image by spreading this story.
