In a further step to increase its reach, Twitter has expanded its Moments format and introduced Promoted Moments on a trial basis.

In a blogpost on Friday, October 23, Twitter announced that it had started testing Promoted Moments in the US, a new native ad format with selected brands.

Promoted Moments will look just like regular Moments, except they'll be created by the brand itself and feature in the Moments guide, with a Promoted badge, for 24 hours.

The first Promoted Moment will be tested on Sunday, October 25, with the movie Creed in partnership with MGM, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. Twitters users are encouraged to give feedback via @TwitterAds.
