OnePlus Says New Tech Can Keep Your Phone’s Battery Running For 4 Years
OnePlus is bringing a new battery tech that it claims can last a lot longer, pack a bigger unit and still support fast charging. Isn't that the dream?

Smartphone batteries degrade in a few years but OnePlus claims its new technology will extend its life for as long as 4 years and still you will have 80 percent power left in the tank. The company has developed a new battery tech that not only promises longer durability but also reduces the size of the unit without lowering the count.

By that we mean OnePlus can offer a battery size of around 6100mAh and not increase the thickness of the phone.

These changes have been asked by many smartphone users, even though the charging speeds kind of give you better and longer returns on the battery life. However, OnePlus seems ready to push the needle in this regard and actually give us a product-ready solution that can alleviate the concerns of many and thereby reduce e-waste of these damaged batteries.

OnePlus Glacier Battery Tech

OnePlus has developed this battery tech with a company to end these issues, but without compromising on its focus on durability, fast charging and sleek design. The company is ready to push this narrative with a new phone very soon, supposedly called the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launching in China this week. But that won’t be the end of this innovation. OnePlus is going to bring this technology to most of its future devices, which we are hoping also includes the Nord lineup.

We have seen fast charging substitute the need to improve the battery tech but it is pleasing to see that companies have not totally given up on the possibility to change the dynamics of the battery which can help smartphones run and last longer. We can’t wait to see if the features highlighted by OnePlus and its benefits work out in the long run.

What's your reaction?
