The senior Congress leader said that the party stands by the Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya.
New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Thursday said the party has always belief that the Ayodhya title suit issue can be resolved by mutual consultation and mutual agreement.
Reacting on the Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya, Singh said "The static position of the Congress party has always been that this is an issue which has to be resolved by mutual consultation and mutual agreement.
"As the different political parties could not come to an proper agreement on Ayodhya. Therefore, we have to respect the Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya," added Singh.
The senior Congress leader said that the party stands by the court's verdict.
"We stand by the court's verdict," said Singh.
