SP likely to support Food Bill in monsoon session, say sources

The Samajwadi Party is likely to support the Food Security Ordinance in Monsoon Session of Parliament. The SP had earlier opposed the Food Bill saying it was anti-farmer.

The Congress could help SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav in corruption cases against him. the challenge for Mulayam is to get clean chit in disproportionate assets case.

Mulayam's review petition against an Election Commission order is pending in the Supreme Court.
