New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will use technology and tools of good governance to bring in changes wherever required for "overhaul" of the system, reach out to people who have grievances and oversee work of all ministers and MLAs.

Kejriwal has already made it clear that "for five years his entire focus will be Delhi", Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday said, dismissing the contention that Aam Aadmi Party Chief intends to focus on expanding the party base in other states by not taking any portfolios.

"We all have come into politics for the overhaul of the system. The chief minister (Kejriwal) will use modern technology and tools of good governance to bring in systemic changes wherever required. Also, he (Kejriwal) will directly reach out to the people, meet them to know their problems and redress their grievances," Sisodia, a close confidant of Kejriwal, told reporters.

"He will oversee the work of all the ministers and the MLAs. He will focus on implementing 70-point agenda for providing better service to the people apart from curbing corruption, controlling price rise and providing people uninterrupted power and water," he said.

Asked whether Kejriwal will try to build the party outside Delhi, Sisodia said, "He (Kejriwal) has already clarified while taking oath that for five years his entire focus will be Delhi. As a chief minister he will seek to bridge the gap between the executing agencies and masses for whom the programmes are intended."

Sisodia said that the government's top priority will be to serve the people in the best possible manner. The government will focus on implementing AAP's 70-point manifesto which the party had promised to the people before the Delhi assembly polls, he said.

Sisodia has been given key portfolios of Finance and Planning, Revenue, Services, Power, Education, Higher Education, Information Technology, Technical Education, Administrative Reforms.
