Lokpal Appointment: A-G, two others in the committee named to advice PM

The final committee to advice the Central government in Lokpal Appointment has been formed.

The Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatagi, Secretary of Department of Personnel and Training and the Law Secretary have been named as the members of the committee.

The committee will make suggestion sought by the Prime Minister on July 26 regarding selection process for the Lokpal Committee. The committee suggested that the role of government should be reduced in dejection and appointment of Lokpal to avoid controversies and maintain the body's unbiased nature.
