DJB installing water meters which Kejriwal had claimed were faulty
The Delhi Jal Board has issued notices to RWAs for replacement of meters.

New Delhi: The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) is on a drive to replace water meters for effective monitoring. But the meters being installed are the same which Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had claimed to be faulty during protests at Jantar Mantar in April 2013.

Kejriwal and his party leaders had alleged that the meters not only measure water but also air. Now the DJB has issued notices to RWAs for replacement of meters and the work to replace them has been going on for the past several months.

When asked, Kejriwal replied that he would investigate the entire matter.

But the question remains if DJB can act without the Chief Minister's authorisation.

BJP also took a dig on Kejriwal saying DJB cannot take any decision without the Chief Minister's permission.

What's your reaction?
