Delhi's CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal warns corrupt officials
He told the people at a Janata Darbar that stern action would be taken against corrupt officers.

New Delhi: With a few hours left before Aaam Aadmi Pary leader Arvind Kejriwal becomes the Chief Minister of Delhi, several government officers in have become very panicky. When a TV channel did a sting operation showing some files being destroyed in a government office, several officers are also trying for transfer after Kejriwal warned dishonest officials of tough action on Thursday.

Kejriwal told the people at a Janata Darbar that stern action would be taken against corrupt officers. He also asked the Delhi Chief Secretary to ensure the safety of all government files and warned him that he will be answerable if any file was found to me missing.

A day after the CNG price was hiked by Rs 4.5, the Delhi Chief Minister designate also questioned the timing of the hike and assured that he will look into it. "I will look at the files and see as to why the CNG prices have been hiked. They could have waited for 2 days," he said. Kejriwal added that he will take care of things like electricity, water and black marketing.

Kejriwal and his Cabinet will be sworn in on Saturday at Ramlila Maidan.
