CWG debate to continue in Parliament today

New Delhi: The Monsoon storm in Parliament is expected to continue on Thursday as well. Both Houses will reconvene today after being adjourned on Wednesday after the Opposition created a rukus. Both Houses saw noisy scenes with NDA members slamming the police lathicharge on the youth BJP workers on Tuesday.

Sports minister Ajay Maken will on Thursday issue a clarification on charges levelled against him regarding the selection of Suresh Kalmadi as Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chief.

Home Minister P Chidambaram, who has come under the Opposition fire, is expected to make a statement on the police swoop on Baba Ramdev at Ramlila Grounds.
